How long does it take to train a dog to be trustworthy off leash you say? Well that really depends on your efforts to train your dog and the efforts of everyone else involved. We are dedicated to training every puppy into adulthood, until they've plateaued. Once an Adult dog has reached a point of plateau that simply means, it's time to refresh their memory on the skills they've learned, and take a Tune-Up Course in the Fundamentals.
Working with your dog on a daily basis on simple training steps will yield positive results. Miller is the quintessential example of a dog that everyone dreams of having. He listens to commands when asked, and is a naturally well mannered bernadoodle. All the work we’ve put into training him has really paid off! Since a young age of 9 weeks old, we started training him. He’s now 2 years old. You’ll watch in this video how responsive he is to the trainer’s visual cues and verbal commands. He’s able to block out all distractions big and small and still follows directions. This is the best example we can give you of a dog that has the fundamental skills needed to perform this difficult task: to sit & down-stay for 1 minute (Off Leash) with major distractions, and without the use of an E-Collar or any other Aversive Equipment.
We work with puppies & adult dogs of all ages! Come find out how well trained your pup will become by enrolling your puppy into our Puppy Bootcamp Program! Clemmie is a 1 year old medium sized Albino Bernadoodle, who’s been trained by us since she was 9 weeks old. She used to have such a difficult time sitting still when surrounded by many distractions. This video shows her progress over the past year of her life, and what your dog could be like if you trusted in us to train your dog now.
Do you struggle with walking your dog because your dog pulls you down the street, puts the breaks on and will not walk, or jumps up and reacts to other dogs and people? This video will show you the parts of the HALTI, how to put it on, and how to walk your dog with the HALTI. This is one of the best (LIMA) Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive training tools on the market today, and you will not regret using one on your dog!
Walking a dog with a Halti is similar to walking a Horse with a Bridal. The Halti Head Halter simply guides your dog where you want them to go! There is just one thing that we'd like you to know before trying a Halti on your dog, and that is, get a professional dog trainer to coach you first on the hows and whys of using a Halti. Let us be your guide and allow one of us to show your dog how to walk gracefully, without ever pulling you out the door or down the street again!
